Georgette is a much sought-after speaker who offers inspiration and encouragement to those experiencing grief. She is authentic in sharing from her heart after having experienced so much loss in her life, including all three of her children. Georgette is a prolific writer who has authored 5 books. She is a podcast host and the founder of a non-profit organization that advocates and supports single homeless women. She recently launched a publishing company, A Heart-to-Heart Creation, LLC. Georgette has been featured on several local TV and radio stations in Savannah, South Carolina, and Atlanta. She has been a guest speaker and panelist on several platforms. Georgette is Nana to five young adult grandchildren and Gigi to three great-grandchildren! Her motto is "Have Hope For A Better Tomorrow!"

Founded in 2008, Divine Rest is a 501 C3 non-profit organization. Its mission is: To give single homeless women more than just a place to lay their heads. Our goal is to Equip, Encourage, and Empower them with the skills to enhance their quality of life by providing GED classes, resume-building, job placement, financial planning, the study of God's word, and much more!

Annual Fundraiser Gala!
Every year we host a fundraiser gala to help us provide services to single homeless women.
Transitional Award!
In memory of one of our long-time financial supporters, this award will be awarded to a single homeless woman who is diligently working towards transitioning from a shelter into a place of her own. (in partnership with 4 The Jewel N U Global, Inc.) A non-profit that assists domestic violence victims.
